Avtron crane control and crane automation systems are available for ports and industrial applications. Avtron has applied its crane control solutions to port cranes, ship-to-shore (quay) cranes, rubber tire gantry cranes, and container cranes. Avtron's industrial crane applications are used in wood yard cranes, melt shop cranes, coil handling, and general purpose industrial crane requirements. Avtron's solutions include component AC and DC drives with crane specific software for meeting CMMA standards and safe operation. Drives can be packaged in complete control cabinets with a wide variety of options including a PLC controller. Anti-sway options with a custom control algorithm using speed crane production are also available.

In addition to control systems, Avtron has developed a crane diagnostic system. This system can be used to remotely troubleshoot and diagnose crane operations so the proper maintenance people and equipment can be dispatched as quickly as possible.
