Avtron provides mining-specific digital drive systems, AC and DC drives, diagnostic monitoring systems, and encoders for the surface and underground mining market. Our project scope ranges from supplying component parts to be used by others to managing turnkey projects for upgrading a shovel, hoist, or a dragline.

Avtron's products are used to increase the performance, reliability, and safety of mine hoists, shovels, draglines, blast hole drills, conveyors, raised bore drills, dredges, and mills throughout the world. Unique high performance algorithms have been developed to speed shovel cycle time and improve dragline gear life.

Avtron provides systems for new applications, or can retrofit obsolete AC and DC drive systems made by ABB, GE, Reliance, Siemens, Westinghouse, and others. Our extensive mining industry application experience provides us with the ability to offer a broad range of support capabilities including remote diagnostics and troubleshooting, 24x7 support line, and internet based solutions from basic hardware solutions to managing complete turnkey projects.
